Rasputin: from psychiatry to sexology

SUMMARY

Rasputin was, possibly, one of the most peculiar, famous, controversial and influential figures in the Europe of the last 19 th century and beginnings of 20 th . According to the public opinion –which is often vulgar and morbida–, a great deal of his fame comes basically from the extreme magnitude of his sexual attributes and behaviours. This matter has always been as controversial as the character himself. Without sexuality, Rasputin never would had been object of so many concerns, investigations, studies, books… and maybe he wouldn't have been the center of this simple, although we hope that not morbid, contribution.
