SUMMARY

World literature collects many articles about premature ejaculation; to get the essential knowledge’s from the great variety of publications is a hard task that requires some effort. The following work tries to summarize the main aspects that are related to its definition, epidemiology, classification, aetiology and diagnosis. The treatment experience is showed and some viewpoints about premature ejaculation are exposed, especially when it exists simultaneously with other sexual disorders like erectile dysfunction, which nowadays has become very common between us.
