SUMMARY

Objective: To show Women Sexual Activity (EVAS-M) short scale and preliminary data of predictive success in contrast of FSFI (Rosen et al, 2000). This scale to measure sexual activity in women is based on conclusions of the international committee concerning clinical evaluation and management strategies for sexual dysfunction (Hatzichristou et al, 2004).

Design: Short questionnaire of 10 items was constructed. Diagnostic power was evaluated in comparison with the FSFI in a sample of 109 psychology women students of Almería University

Results and conclusions: The scale scores show a good predictive efficiency, being more selective than the FSFI. These results mean that it can be a useful test for diagnosis of female sexual dysfunction in family medicine.
