SUMMARY

The PEAS program sprang from a double need on the part of our entity: on the one hand, to improve the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and, on the other, to improve our efficiency to answer, to innovate and to consolidate services adapted to the new needs of the community. The program includes group dynamics, support with individual therapy and a mediation service with sexual workers and people who are responsible for the brothel. This experience has been enriching and positive for all implicated agents. The present work summarises our experience and reflections.
