| Degree of sexual satisfaction in women by heterosexual activity and organs involved in orgasm

SUMMARY
Objective: To find out the satisfaction degree that experiences the women in their sexual relations; and which organ was most closely related to her orgasm.
Study design: Cross-sectional descriptive study made by means of survey in an incidence sample of women. Location: Practice of General Gynecology located in a Primary Care Health Center, in a working-class district of Seville.
Participants: 500 women between 18 and 45 years, who have maintained heterosexual relations during the six months previous to the interview. All women who fulfilled the aforementioned requirements where included, except immigrant and gypsy women (due to language problems). All women answered to the whole survey.
Main measurements: Age, parity, reasons for attendance, frequency of sexual relations, contraceptive method, degree of sexual satisfaction and organ related to their orgasm. The variables were put under the calculation of percentage values and 95% confidence intervals. Results: 48.86% refer 1 to 3 sexual relations weekly (IC 95%: 44.46-53.26); 73.6% reported that they remained “always satisfied” (IC 95%: 69.8-77.4). 30.6% need clitoris stimulation alone (IC 95%: 26.6-34.6), 31.4% needed vaginal penetration (IC 95%: 27.4-35.4) and 34% arrived at orgasm indistinctly or alternatively (IC 95%: 29,8-8.2).
