Attended reproduction and sexual disfunction therapy

SUMMARY

Thirty-eight-year-old male patient, who attends at the clinic with his partner, both of them seeking psychological counseling in order to overcome a mourning after an involuntary interruption of an assisted pregnancy. Through therapy, other difficulties emerged —which derived from sterility itself and the reproduction therapy— such as secondary alcoholism, and added sexual dysfunctions due to secondary anxiety states. A new therapeutic approach is carried out on the acquired sexual dysfunctions employing sensorial focalization technique and cognitive re-estructuration, with positive results.
