Behavioral, attitudinal and experiential aspects of the sexuality in the elderly

SUMMARY

Objectives: To study diverse aspects of the sexuality of elderly people.

Methodology: A personal interview is made on sexual habits and opinions in centers of elderly people of Seville.

Results and conclusions: 39% of the women and 81.4% of the men maintain their sexual activity. As the age increases, less importance is given to the sexuality. Most of the interviewed people think that the sexuality lasts all the life, they feel it worse than when they were young and they consider that it is good for health.
