Girls’ sexuality with restrictive anorexia nervosa

SUMMARY

Objectives: To compare the sexual behavior patterns of patients with restrictive anorexia nervosa and women without eating disorders.

Methodology: A personal interview is carried out (restrictive anorexia nervosa= 33; without eating disorders= 37) using questions related to the subjects´ sexual and eating behavior.

Results and conclusions: The data suggests that patients with restrictive anorexia nervosa have different patterns of sexual behavior than the subjects in the control group, which should be taken into account when designing intervention programs.
