Multidisciplinary
experience in an Elderly Ocupational Room in a village of Toledo

SUMMARY
The objective of
the current study is to find out if the cognititve capacity of the
older population gets better by attending classes for older people,
an activity promoted by the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La
Mancha (regional government); this investigation was carried out
in a town of Toledo, Mejorada.
In order to obtain information regarding this activity,
we have moved to the aforementioned rural zone, to our surprise,
upon carrying out a bibliographical search, we had harly found the
material about the theme.
The information was obtained through open interview with the representative
students out of the thirty that attend the classes.
The content of which was given by memebers of the Multidisciplinary
Team of Health, among those that stand out in our profession, nursing.
In conclusion, we confirmed our initial hipothesis,
the older students showed to have a better memory, to have learned
healthier habits and learned more about themselves, among other
things.
