SUMMARY
Do we know to take care of geriatric
patient with acute confusional syndrome at hospital? What way could
we be able to improve in?
On this essay we show a Cares´ Plan based on Dorothea E. Orem's
Model, to be used as a guide for the profesional practice at hospital.
On it, a specific valuation is made, a series of problems are identified
and a series of actions are proposed to get a better aid quality
for this kind of patients.
We think that it is really useful to make this kind of plan of cares;
because, being acute confusional syndrome a very often problem at
hospital, we can prevent its appearance, we can identify its signs
and symptoms and to act efficaciously as soon as possible, to solve
the problem and to avoid to be able chronic.
Finally, it is important to stand out: on one hand the socio-familiar
group, and on the other hand the physical enviroment of the patient,
for a faster end of the problem.
