Physical motility disorder after hospitalitation
Garreta Burre M.

SUMMARY

From the Geriatric Function Unit (UFIS) it is noticed that one of the most frequent nursing diagnosis is physical motility disorder. That lead us to develop a study whose aim was to know the prevalence of immobility syndrome after hospitalization when it is a consequence of hospital admission and not the cause that leads to it. We carried out a transversal study with the patients evaluated during the year 2001. We used as inclusion criterion the existence of immobility and as exclusion criterion that this immobility was related with neuromuscular and/or musculoskeletal trouble.

KEY WORDS
