Care’s plan for the geriatric patient with urgency’s urinary incontinence

SUMMARY

  Urgency’ urinary incontinent affects to a very great population and especially to the elderly one, having a great repercussion in the physical, psychological and social area and affecting a lot in their life’ quality.

  Physiological process about making old produces among others modifications, detrusor muscle’s elastic loss, and this is the principal cause that takes the urgency’s urinary incontinent in the elderly people.

  Since nurse’s ambit is important to know the physiophatology about the urgency’s urinary incontinent and theirs types of treatment, to be able to help the geriatric patient to adapt to the new demands about self-cared the appears as consequence of this healthy problem.

  In this article is proposed a care’s plan directed to the elderly people with urgency’s urinary incontinent that include a focalized valoration and the proceedings in the nursing diagnostics that are associated with a higher frequency to this situation.
